bedok food centre tak syiok sangat

had a dinner with the work colleagues and for the first time, finally i went to Bedok Food Centre. last time my dad got tell me there's a good food centre at Simpang Bedok near an army camp. well finally i got to the place already.

i thought i was at newton cos it looks like newton food centre.

BUT upsetting. after eating there, i realise, malays, if they sell food, its either too expensive or not nice to eat or both... and more, including bad service.

my boss wanted to eat some seafood stuffs like prawns and sotong. so they went to this malay stall selling seafood. then when the prawns and the sotong came, my boss said the prawns were too small and the sambal for both dish were not nice. in fact the chinese seafood stall at newton was 10 times better and 2 times bigger. after paying for the food, she ask why so expensive. usual prawn sambal (big prawns mind you) cost at $10 while the 9 small prawns with sambal we bought cost $12! the white rice came very2 late cause they had to cook it. not enough lah tu.

another shop selling rojak char kuey was upsetting. i ask for medium charkuey rojak. and all they give was alot of tauge, alot of kubis, and some real hard char kuey. even the boss was surprised to see kubis in the rojak. sedap tapi tak puas hati.

but the Satay Power stall is good. cos the satay is nice.

so i realise bedok food centre is not that great after all. except for its famous Cheng Tng. she said the cheng tng is the best there. and she was right. and some more, the place is too deep to go. ulu lah tempatnya. cannot take public bus one, mati ah untuk orang tinggal west.
