Malay Classic Old Songs versus the DJs

had a film shoot yesterday nite at teck whye block 5. my friend's production wanted to make a film about i dunno what, but for this scene is about a group of people stuck in a lift and the area got bombed. i acted as a volunteer worker to save these people. imagine, from 8.30pm till 3.45am of shooting.

my english is really bad lah. one of the lines, i said, "the shopping mall got 3 blocks." check out the phrase. sounds Singlish? yeah, its the 'got'. another one, "block A and B were very badly damaged." sounds weird? that's nervousness.

few of my school mates from shuqun secondary were found. i met herman at CDA, he joined ERS course as a regular and he said that wan itam is one of the trainee too. then i saw this video clip from nazrin, showing a few police officers from his station. one of them was elfi! wah, quite a number of my friends working for the home team as regulars lah. me? nah, i don't wanna sign up. further more i'm overweight. work 'outside' better.

went to school a few days ago, me and the dikir barat group practiced kompang. thanks to one of the member, hairi, he taught the basics of the kompang rythms that i'd never learn of. we had fun practicing all the different types of beats and playing as a team were not as easy as i thought. one person beat the kompang wrongly and the rest can follow suit, ending up creating noises rather than creating artistic beats of the kompang. there's more to learn next lesson, can't wait.

i love Warna 94.2FM because of the malay classics, old songs that are so nice to hear. but i really, really hate them because the djs talk too much(especially during dedications) and they got alot of advertisements(ok this part cannot be helped lah, cos without them, no salary lah for the djs). also they got their own Warna theme song that they played like too much!!! and its so annoying! especially when it reaches the high pitch of the song. oh my God...
