Keramat Si Kandar

you all got watch 'Jalan' in Suria? the previous episode they were talking about the keramat at fort canning. is it Sri Tri Buana(or Sang Nila Utama), Iskandar Shah or a pious man who was named as Si Kandar?

Sri Tri Buana? cannot be lah. why would his grave be all alone at the fort canning? surely he would be buried together with his other royal family rite? is he muslim? i don't think so. anyway the keramat is a muslim's grave though.

parameswara ran away and build a new city called melaka. and he converted to islam and changed his name to iskandar shah. surely he would be living peace and harmony at melaka, and die peacefully there.

i believe its Si Kandar, the pious man who went to village to village spreading Islam and teaching the villagers long long time ago. But why this man choose to live on top of the hill where he can actually live together with the villagers near the Singapore River? well maybe because the hill is quiet and peaceful, so its easier for him to focus when praying.

so its so common sense that the keramat is someone's who was respected by the villagers for his determination and will to spread islam.
