Budu or Bodoh?

yesterday nite went out with my friend to arab street, eat at this place called sultan cafeteria. its not a nice place ah, decor was plain n simple but the songs played were the reason why we went there cos they played malay love songs. and of cos the main topic we talked about that nite was about relationships.

then this nite went out with CD friends. just 2 members, eat at the $2.50 kopi tiam lucky plaza level 6. now the price had gone up from $2 to $2.50!!! That sucks. oh yeah i realised that quite a number of malay young couples ate at lucky plaza there eh... maybe its cheaper, especially good for the guy whose going to pay for his girl's food and drinks.

then played pool there. i dominated and won 3-1 in a 2 player pool match. or is it 4-1? 4 times i shot the white ball and went out of the table.

checked out new cds at HMV. Lamb of God - Killadelphia was powerful and its live some more! i like that one. Chimaira's new album was not that interesting as their last album. i think i have to listen to it again ah.

then we went off to peninsular, went to the metal cd shop. expensive ah... average price there was $29.90 cos its rare and difficult to find except this shop.

my friend said that "kanak2 budu" is a bahasa pasar and many malay people has now use it. it means newbies. i never heard of it till now. i checked the Kamus Dewan 3rd Edition for the word, budu. it actually means ikan masin kering. so kanak2 budu is kanak-kanak ikan masin kering.
