NYP GO! NYP GO! NYP GO GO GO!

"When we fly high, we fly together!", silat NYP cheered as they were going to face with 8 finals! silat NYP got a good chance to win the championship.

first its the semi finals for hazira, with an easy win, she got into the finals, the last person to get into the finals. unfortunate for Zila she lost with a better opponent. even though she got abt 5 jatuhan, her opponent fought back with her fast left and right kicks. Zila lost 4-1.

then came the finals, amalina and aina's opponents were just too aggresive and fast. they lost, but the good thing is, we got 2 silvers!

then Danial's game was an eye opener, it was a good fight, with both hitting each other, it looks like a draw, but what i see, his opponents had more kicks then Danial. 3rd round, Danial played relax which was a mistake. he thought that he had scored more points. but his guess was wrong, he lost 4-1. Despite of him not been training alot, he still got that great kicking skills. nice job Dan!

Faizal Rock's game is a bomb! 2 big giants fighting and hitting each other, its really breathtaking! and we got the first Gold from him!

Ipin was fighting real hard, he got no more stamina, his legs were in pain, he thought that he will lose. but he showed that human spirit can do wonders, he just fight using his injured leg and arm! and he won the Gold! Yeah!

then there was a technical problem between my assistant team manager and the judge. Sofian was disqualified for not being in the weight limit. his weight was 0.2kg more. there was no tolerance! all our instructors came and persuade the judge to gave in but to no avail. too bad. its all fate. i don't wanna say that its the pesilat's fault for not checking his weight earlier on. this is all fate. Seriously it is. God is trying to show us something, which i still cant' figure out what.

and because of Sofian's lost we were certain that we cannot win the championship. but even if Sofian won the Gold, we will still lose because of ITE got more finalists than us. and many of the finalists were really good fighters, so its difficult to win them.

Hazira's the final game for silat NYP. She fought hard. but somehow she's not giving the kicks like what she did in the quarter finals; attacking all the way from the first round to the last. her kicks were less, her sapuan didn't work somehow. but i'm sure, she gave it all. i'm really sure of that. final whistle, she got Silver.

not forgetting, other pesilats that didn't make it to the semi finals and the finals. you all have gave it all for silat NYP. the supporters including me had gave all our shouts and screams for you. its all worth it! during the closing ceremony, i felt sad. IVP Silat Competition is the only competition that will make us together and together we built teamwork whenever our pesilats were going for their fights.

Let The Games Begin!

3 days of the silat championship had passed. i could feel the tiredness mentally. i'm not tired during the games where i had to go up and down to get the pesilats, get their IC, or even fill in their bottle with water. what is more tiring is when i had to jot down who win in all the games played. i must make sure that i didn't miss any of them, because its important to update the winnings so that our NYP pesilats will know who they will fight with. but its fun, it makes myself busy. i don't have to just sit down and watch the matches.

watching NYP pesilats fighting is actually fun. but watching other people's fight is boring, because i dont' know them and its boring to watch a game where each of them kick and punch all the way during the game, boring!

i remember during the asia pacific silat championship held in singapore, sepak takraw world cup also held on the same days. and both places were played at the same building, the centre of excellence, at bedok. during the silat matches, i went out and watch the sepak takraw game. because i was bored. seriously, watching sepak takraw was even fun. well maybe thats why i don't have very serious thought about being a pesilat.

anyway, of all the matches silat NYP played, first day, Zul's game was the best, first and second round he didn't show much kicks, but the third round, he got his opponent abt 3 jatuhan! best!

then the second day, hazira's game was magnificent, first and second round, she kena kick and punch by her opponent, but in third round, the opponent were tired, hazira give all she's got, the best part was when she did sapuan 2 times and both sapuan the opponent fell! its like a striker scored a very beautiful winning goal!

the third day, i went there late because i have to go to admiralty CC for my drama practice. it was not a good day for NYP, many of us lost especially our veterans, Edlinda, Nazrin, Anuar Gegerl and Izad. i felt sad for them, but whatever it is, i'm still happy because some of our youngsters manage to go forward!
Good luck for next week guys!

A Day at NTU Sports Hall

I was supposed to wake up at 8am so that i can meet other silat NYP members at boon lay mrt at 9. instead, i was awake at 9am. then when i was about to go to the kitchen, Ed called, she told me to wake up! Haha!

When i reached at NTU, i saw some of my members were running at the tracks. They were running to drop some weights, kesian...

I met Ilyas, he said to give all my members the medical form. but i didn't have, he said that he emailed me with an attachment. i read it but i didn't notice there's an attachment of the medical form! so he gave me one copy of it, and i asked Faizal Rock to photocopy at outside NTU.

Ilyas seems to be a very nice guy. when we were talking, we smiled. so he didn't seems to be a 'high nose' guy lah. so that's good news. When i wanna come to NTU, i was afraid about the letter that i post for the change of pesilat, from Aida to Diyana, i scared that the letter didn't reach on time. Thank God when he said that its settled.

ITE team manager is a an old guy, maybe he's in the 40's like that. Hehe! got one guy said who talked too much! well, when i was outside getting some air, he came and suddenly talked about the silat championships and the rules and regulations. and that time i had to go to Admiralty CC, and i was going to be late! Haha~!

I missed the balloting at 2pm, cos i had to go to admiralty CC, need to reach there at 2pm also.

During the medical checkup, there was no problems, except Faizal Rock who didn't bring his IC. But Ilyas let him go and everything went alright, except that not all of the pesilats did their weighing in. there were some who were still struggling to drop their weights. Sofian had to drop like about 2kg! other's like Wan need to drop a few points. kesian dorang.

Must Get The Tickets!!!

National Day is coming. i've just register for NDP ticket balloting at the website. i have never been to National Day Parade in my life. i've always wanted to go and watch it live at the national stadium.

i remembered that time the NDP tickets were being given free at selected stadiums but they didn't tell us where it is till the next morning. but what happen was that morning, when the radio announced the stadiums that you can collect the tickets, all the tickets were gone! many people came right after the announcement didn't get the tickets! and i was almost wanted to collect the tickets at a nearby stadium but i was too lazy to go. Thank God i didn't go! or else i'll be one of the unfortunate people that didn't get the tickets. i remember that time my friends told me that watching the NDP was a waste of time, well these people got no sense of patrioticism towards their own country!

Do u know why the tickets were gone so fast, even before the announcement? i guess this very lucky people went to the stadium, very2 early, hoping that the stadium they went was one of the selected ticket collection. but a long long time ago was far worse than this, people stayed overnight at the National Stadium just to get the free tickets!

anyway that was a long time ago. Now its easier! you just register, and hope and pray that during the balloting, you'll be chosen to get the tickets!

I hope this year i can go and watch the NDP. even if i have to watch it alone, i don't mind.

Noritta?

Yes, you people read the story in Berita Harian about Noritta? They said that its like a sex scandal TV drama, "Perbicaraan di mahkamah bak siri drama skandal seks TV."

In the picture, she looks pretty, and when i read that the court said that she had done sex with this guy 2 times, my mind suddenly starts to imagine things! Damn! i am so bad. But the good thing is, the Berita Harian didn't elaborate so much about the sex thing, they only said about her knowing 3 guys and their relationships with her.
Then i check the internet about her. Wow! scary stuff! the headlines were quite erotic!

'Noritta could have had oral sex on the day of her murder'
'Noritta aktif lakukan hubungan seks'
'Noritta mati selepas seks kasar'
'Noritta pernah jadi GRO'

Looks like the writers really wanted to make a sell out on their newspapers!

But i feel so sorry for her parents, in the Berita Harian also said that her father read the newspaper about her alone at his farm, after that he brought home the newspaper, the front page was soaked with his tears!!! Arghh! SO pity of him!

i hope that the malay people in Singapore will learn something from this tragic story, and stop non-marital sex among our young people of malay singaporeans.

Family Feast

Vesak Day, my grandmother planned to have a simple family feast at her place, which is of course at my place too, cos she lived with me.

one day before the feast, suddenly my grandma became noisy; she asked my sis to do the house chores like sweeping and mopping the floor. my sis was irritated but she had to do it or else she would get nagged by her. i also kena! She asked me to clear all the mess in my room. (what i mean "asked" is scolding. cos she like to turn up her voice volume to high when she needs something to be done by us).

after my room is cleared of mess, i went out to meet Firman. He wanted to play LAN-gaming at this new place, at Parklane, near dhoby ghaut mrt. i tried Battlefield Vietnam, it was much better than Battlefield 1942 and Battlefield: Road To Rome. you can hear the bullets hitting the tree you're hiding. you can see shooting bullets from behind, it was so real, and scary!

On Vesak Day, the feast started out with a big lunch! we cook fish head curry, my other aunties brought epok-epok and malay laksa. there's belacan, chicken wings, curry with meat, Wow!

I talked to 2 cousins whose doing his O levels, the other one waiting for Poly. i boast to them that i only started studying for O levels on October, 1 month only! and i said during the studying, i played bowling with my friends, it became a routine during that time; study, then bowling, 3 times a week!. Damn, i miss bowling. the last time i played was 3 yrs ago.

Then at night, my cousin, girl, very young, can't remember her name right now!, cried, dunno why. but it had became common so we don't really pay much attention on her. She's cute. But she likes to get attention from people, dunno how to describe it how she tried to get attention, but i know one of them is by crying out loud!!!!. cos she thinks she's better looking than any of my other cousins (my father said this!).
Well, Fuck off, little girl!

It was fun to see all the whole family get together, talked, make jokes, play games etc. it was really fun. i could sense a great bonding when we are together.
Oh yeah, after Maghrib prayers, my uncle did a short tahlil . During the doa, i was sleeping!!!!!! Oh Allah, don't make me do this kind of thing anymore...
