ASEAN football vs EPL

the water temperature was freezing cold this morning when i took a shower. i was shaking non-stop that when i brushed my teeth, i was brushing all over the place inside my mouth.

i was working that Saturday, so i missed the excitement at Kallang but thank God, channel 5 show the game live so i watched with the officer on duty and my other duty friend. the only malysian channel that showed the delayed game at 12.30 midnite was RTM1. the problem is, i was actually watching alone. my duty officer, who loves EPL, was doing his things on the computer while my other friend was busy playing Nintendo. weird man, its the semi-final game, how can they not get excited? also, my other friend didn't know that Singapore was the defending champions. heheeh! good thing the game ended up in penalties, that made both of them excited.

i thought that there would be no Singaporeans who are not interested in local football, just like what some said in the papers, but they are actually exists. is it because they watch too much European football since they play much much better football than Singapore and the rest of the ASEAN?

96.3

everytime i open my blog, i will read my friends' blogs first followed by checking my friendster and multiply. but its been so long i've not updated my blog. because everytime i want to write, i got no idea what to write. why? because my life got nothing interesting happen. except yesterday. something from below was trying to give a signal but we couldn't get it what it is, instead we got pissed. the signal gave a loud 'teet' on my friend's guitar amp after changing his guitar for the third time because the guitar gave some problems. it will sound when the metal zone gadget was turned on. and because of that signal, we jammed like shit.
oh wait, i think i get it: "jammed," "like shit," "got signal." hmm.

just yesterday also, i came upon to this radio station, FM96.3 its an international channel meaning it has programmes that speaks in french, german and japanese. but after 4pm onwards, they had music interlude all the way till midnite. and that's the part is nice because they played instrumental music, and a few classical pieces. soothing and relaxing.

Game Gila Babi!

"Cristopherrrr..., taking a coach not a flight?" remember those lines from the Grassland coach advertisement?the guy was caught for drink driving! hahah!

"ma'am(pronounced as mum), very good!" i hate the way the maid said that, its irritating. but when i used the phrase to some of my friends, they laughed like hell.

Best Friends?! Woo, That's Gay

after the thrilling 11-0 against Laos, Singapore fight hard for a draw against Indonesia for a score of 2-2. yes they're gonna play against Malaysia in the semis! finally! a match that I've been looking forward to for a long time!

anyway, the stadium, as usual, was half filled. but more energetic due to the referee making a mistake, so the Singapore fans shouted angrily, "referee kayu!" and "butoh!".
i wonder why Singapore fans are always angry because when the opposing teams made a foul against the spore players, they will shout angry and nasty words at them, and when the spore players did some stupid mistakes like a miss kick or giving useless long passes, they will get angry also and swear at them!
during half time, when the Indonesian fans went out of the seatings to go toilet and smoke break, the Singapore fans chanted loudly, "Singapore! Singapore!". i think the Indonesians feel a bit shy to go to the toilet and lepak around there after that. hehehe!

i made one of my friend angry because that night he called me, wanted to meet me at city hall the next day to lepak with him. i didn't promise him anything but i said I'll confirmed about it the next day.

and when the next day came, it was late afternoon and i was sleeping, he called me, feeling angry, he said why i always have time to go out with my Poly friends but i had no time to go out with him. also he said 10 times he asked me to go out with him but only 2 times we met. then he made me feeling bad by saying that if i don't want to be friends with him then tell him, so he won't bother me again. and he said that he treated me as his best friend. he put down the phone and i continue sleeping.

a few minutes later, he called me again and said sorry because he knew that last night i was working 24 hour shift so i must be too tired to go out. of course i apologised to him also for not going out with him. after that i continue to sleep.

Disappointing Game, Disappointing Prata

the singapore vs vietnam match was disappointing for me, if only i could count how many "alamaks" and "haiyahs" i've said during the game. Singapore's style were mostly long passes and sometimes they looked like they lost confidence to attack.

even though the crowd was half full, the atmosphere were totally 'Vietnam'ing. the shoutest cheers, the wave, the chanting all came from the Vietnam fans. Singaporeans were kinda shy to shout.

then after the game, me and my friends decided to go Jalan Kayu to eat. what a disappointment when they gave a very normal looking roti prata, and even the taste was normal. and its 70 cents!
i thought jalan kayu roti prata were famous? maybe during those days only...

A Journey to History

yesterday i went to National Museum with Idah before meeting Rafi and Heikal (because they were busy, heheeh). when we went in, it looked so magnificent, its like going back to old times. the best was the History Gallery where you will have a Companion with you that looks like a small computer and a earphone. this device will give infos via audio on the galleries that we're going to.

of cos the history starts at before Raffles. the problem is that they didn't show any information about the sultanates of Singapore. they didn't show anything on it. except some pieces of plates and jewelleries from Majapahit and China.

there were many nice small size pictures drawn with pencils, it looked simple but detailed. most of the pictures were images of the sea of singapore where ships and the island and small2 villages and buildings can be seen. here you can see the treaty and some Europeans.

but i think the best part was during the independence and merger. maybe because i love to know alot about that period of time. the Lee Kuan Yew's summarised speech was shown and can be heard from the Companion. it was interesting yet i felt weird when he said that merger is important so that we can progress. hmm, merger...

well not just the history of singapore, you can also see the history of film, fashion and food! these 3 galleries were as interesting too. tickets at $10 for adults and $5 for students/NSmen. but the history gallery closes at 6pm, others closes at 9pm, so be there early.

Time - Ignorant Yet Valuable

sometimes when you're just too excited playing games, you tend to ignore the time. but the time past so fast, it shortens the fun. me and my bro made a new team in Winning Eleven 8 and played the Master League. 2 controllers controlling one team of course. we got so hooked we didn't realise we played till 5am. whenever we got the chance to buy players, i got emotionally aroused to play more and more matches to see if the players that we've bought were effective in their positions they played.

these few days not much things to talk about. i guess 2007 is still young. haven't had any fun activities going on except the jamming session last sunday was entertaining and satisfying. now i realised we're playing mostly 70s rock music.
