Cousins Outing. Take Note

This note is specially for my cousins for the singapore historic outing this
sunday, 30th december 2007.

Place to meet: Raffles Place MRT
Time: 1000hrs

You guys remember to bring your concession cards. with it you'll get discount for the tickets to the history museum. i may not going to pay for you. oklah, maybe i can lah but to be safe bring your cards.

please wear casual, maybe a little bit sporty because you'll be exposing yourself with the sun more than going indoors.

food will be provided for you by our cousins who are already working. and that includes me, unfortunately. so kakak, you make sure you bring along your POSB atm card tau. hehehee. if i'm not wrong khairani also working right? hehehehe. just kidding can? haahahaa! ok merepek.

this is the plan.

10am to 12noon
We'll have a walk through the history of the colonisation times where you will explore the building infrastructures of the city hall, the supreme courts and even a theatre hall. very colonial.

12noon to 1pm
Picnic by the Forbidden Hill. or in this case the fort canning park. you'll be eating tapao food that will be sponsored by the working cousins while savouring the ambience of being in a forbidden place.

1pm to 2.30pm
Singapore National Museum. you'll be going to learn the history of singapore using a big iPod. now the museum has been refurbished and the history gallery are more cooler than last time, so its gonna be great. if you are schooling, no matter you're JC or poly or Sec, bring your concession card. then you'll get half price for the tickets. For NSF, your 11B can also give yourself a half price ticket.

2.30pm-3pm
we'll go to the masjid bawah tanah at UOB Plaza for Zuhor.

3pm onwards
Lastly we'll go lepak at botanical gardens. there you'll get to eat tapao food also and you can also feed the turtles there.

after that we go home. but.......... if you got any other gerek and syiok plans, feel free to discuss it with me. any enquiries call me.

Its a Nice Relaxing Date

i am legend. a movie full of scary moments. its a roller coaster ride. shocks, surprises and of course action packed. its a must watch.

wow, thanks to my sis, TCC at the boat quay is one of the best coffee house i've ever stepped upon. the place is great. the drink is wow, don't know what to say, very nice drink. i chose a hot latte called Perfect Match. it has a rose syrup in it so it taste like milk coffee with rose. it even sprinkled a real pieces of rose i think. i ate it and its like eating a rose straight from the rose plant.

congrats to Betara Karisma for their second placing in the Piala Khatulistiwa and thank you to you all for ordering t-shirts from me. i saw a picture of you all with the small plaques and you all wearing the t-shirts i printed for you all. Dark grey cotton roundneck and yellow and black printing. beautiful colour combination there.

that saturday was nazrin's birthday but it was quite a sad one at first. me and him only went to eat together at the Ayam Penyet Ria. then i followed him go shopping to find an adidas jacket and he almost wanted to buy a jacket thats totally out of the place cos its too much sponge and its only good to wear if you're going to Antarctica. but in the end he got a jacket of a really nice colour combination of Grey and Maroon. baik punya combination.

then the rest came at night and i was surprised with a nice and cute gift. a very, very late birthday present of a wallet made in Germany called Picard. quite a famous brand. very happy. problem is my Jean Paul Gaultier wallet is still in good condition. maybe i'll use the Picard for malaysia trip lah. so i can keep all my malaysian ringgits inside Picard while SingDollars and IC and other cards will remain in my JPG.

Kena Kacau Time Tidur

hari raya haji, my living room was divided into 3 parts, the pakcik makcik, the kids, and the pakcik makcik. eh? oh yah... that one family got some problem with the other family in aidilfitri. and in aidiladha, i thought they gonna go face to face talk but instead they just separate from the main living room and sat at the dining table. sad but true.

anyway, the kids were having a conversation with the kakak2. so i joined in cos it looked interesting. they were talking about an outing for all the kids next sunday. they thought of going around in singapore with a van. so i gave them an idea how about s'pore historic outing includes going to museums and sightseeing old buildings of singapore? they agreed!!!! yes! aku boleh tunjuk aku peh kebolehan in singapore history finally! but i need to do some research first. so go syonan-to!

just happen yesterday nite, i was sleeping. then i heard knocking of my main door. continuous knocking. so i open my eyes and i wanted to get up but couldn't! cos i felt someone holding my head and my hand down. and then i heard that someone whispering something to my ears. gibberish sia. so i coundn't understand what thing was saying or chanting to me. so i closed my eyes and said some prayers before i open my eyes and said in my heart "AllahuAkbar!" and its gone. i could move my hands already. i looked at my ceiling thinking of what that thing was and why that thing wanna do dat to me. then i went back to sleep.

Time To Change

ok lets talk about hari raya haji for this year 2007.

all families will be coming to my house. yesterday my sis complaining whenever they came we have to kemas. the thing is, dia yg kena kemas, jadi nampak sah malas. but i think its time to change venues whenever hari raya haji and aidilfitri comes. all the families will come to our house cos we got nenek living with us.

wat i meant by families are the 3 families.
pak long family, usu family and cik adon family. pak long, usu and cik adon are my nenek's sons. while my mum is her daughter.
so that means my nenek got 4 children.

i think i should discuss with my pakciks, why not we change venues like every year.

i know we always have to waste quite alot of money whenever the 2 hari raya comes.

so it is time to change.

you know, if your study table or your desk in the office is clean with no extra2 papers here and there and some small2 stuffs lying over the tables like pens, stapler bullets, you will have very easy to work. so thats what i did yesterday. i stayed at work to clear my tables cos the papers are piling up. even rubbish that looked like papers are piling up below my gerobok. and shirts also. they throw2 at my table dunno how to put back.

anyway, i got nazrin's shirt. raglan White base Red sleeve. thinkin' about wat to put on the shirt.

anyway, nazrin's birthday coming. wat present you all wanna buy? why not you all help me buy a red ringer shirt and the rest you leave it to me. i know this is stupid to tell this on blogger. aku malas nak message2 orang.
no matter, i'll try to get a shirt, see how. but if you got any shop that sells ringer shirts, please tell me. ringer tu macam dia punya rings lain colour than the body.
ah shit! lambat gi kerja lagi!!!!!!!!!! selamats!

Dato' Afiqq Taking A Break

hello again from hotel maya, jalan ampang. mak ai, this hotel really is a beautiful place. i check the internet, price at around RM400+++ for a night with free breakfast. i can even see the twin towers from here, dekat woo! breathtaking gila babi.

almost a day we used to configure the T-Jet 3 machine's printing. we're trying to make sure the machine can print a perfect colour on the shirts. and so far so good. salute to the guy who's gonna take care of the software part. a mute guy, communicate using hands. but his hands can do well with photoshop, corel draw and other programs in the computer. already they have a customers who basically were designers who wanted to sell their designs on the t-shirts. we met them a few months ago that he's interested on T-Jet 3 but not enough budget. well now malaysia has its very first t-shirt printer and we've solved the designers' problems.

while configuring out the machine, my colleague were searching for hotels using their laptop. to my boss' son's horror, cos he's surprised and i'm not, she couldn't get any hotels! she tried almost 10 hotels. so we had to go there ourselves. from Hotel Istana that cost around RM1k a night to the hotel equatorial where there's quite a number of singapore cars parked there, all hotel fully booked! so we tried hotel maya again where we've been for our first night. dapat bilik oi! macam tak famous aje hotel ni. but nevertheless hotel maya is the best hotel i've been.
the boss thought of going bukit bintang to shop, so we ate, but no time to shop. goodlah cos no use shop there, expensive aje. better go orchard road. my colleague bought a RM20 durian and it taste sweet lah eh!

and we took a cab for RM15 tapi my boss mintak RM10 . but this guy is a chinese, so boleh communicate easily with my boss. sekali dia punya bawak baik lah eh! masuk lorong ke lorong punya kes. kalah taxi singapore!

oklah cannot tahan. sunday afternoon we're going off. business trip yang cukup baik. even though i cockup a bit during the configuration of the machine. gua kanchiong ah beb. kalau dah kanchiong mesti tunggang terbalik tau.

Kerana Datok, Kita Kena Halau

pictures taken at Madam Kwan's Kitchen at Mid Valley Mega Mall. The rice i ate is called Nasi Bonjari cost RM20.90 but not bad beb. ayam besar.

i'm at Maya Hotel at KL, Jln Ampang. there's free internet access here in the hotel but for 24 hours only. after that must pay!

anyway, when we reached KL, our client Mr Saha, came with a car and asked us to follow from the back to his neighbourhood called taman salak jaya near mid valley. then we went to his small shop and help my colleagues to set up the TJet 3 machine. while doing our work, my boss talked with him. she asked Mr Saha what time usually the shop close? he said 1am; cos his buddies were playing chatting. ah ye lah tu.

after that we went to eat at the Mid Valley Mega Mall. damn huge the shopping centre, like marina square. after our late dinner we went to find a hotel. i realise the road near jalan ampang and jalan bukit bintang were crowded with vehicles. and it was 11.30pm! dah boleh kalahkan orchard road.

oh yeah while we were searching for a hotel, we went to this building we thought its a hotel. so we stopped at the lobby but the front car blocked us. then came a body guard and dia tak sempat nak tanya my salesperson ask him, "mau cari hotel."
the bodyguard said, "ini bukan hotel. ini KL city hall." so she asked again, "mana tempat lagi ada hotel disini?" dia berkata, "boleh tolong reverse kereta awak, datuk nak datang."the car infront of us was a car belongs to a Datok, he's about to come out from the city hall, that's why got traffic police and bodyguards. weird thing, no traffic police stopped us before we came inside the city hall. so not our fault. anyway the city hall looks like a hotel, so not our fault also.

Guys Not Challenging Enough

today...
singapore lost a place to the SEA Games football final. macam sial! oklah i can see that the thais played well. but the lion's attack quite a number of times but they either lost the ball to the thais or they lost the ball to their own legs. aiyoo...
oklah, at least they got it in the knockout round for the first time since the SEA Games implement under 23 years old only eligible to play, since 1999.

last Friday...
battlefield 2 is a must play for lan gaming. i love war. so i wanna play that game again, hopefully this game will become popular among the lan gamers, just like counterstrike a few years ago where as many as 20 lan gamers play together, after school, and sometimes during school.

last saturday...
the tv on saturday as i blogged before, is boring. so i watch documentaries. one of the best i've watched is "Metal: A Headbanger's Journey."
a must watch for metal lovers out there and also for people who wants to know why their boyfriends and girlfriends listen to what they thought of metal as "noisy" music.

last sunday...
i thought its going to be a great activity in the morning, play street soccer. sekali, after i almost reaching Woodlands to meet my friends, they said it was cancelled. so what did we do? we play arcade instead.
of cos breakfast at burger king. then talk cock, then play tembak2, virtua soccer and virtua tennis.

yesterday...
eh seriously, this is boring man.
monday: work, play bowling, go home.
tuesday: work, swimming, go home.
wednesday: work, go home.
thursday: work, watch movie, go home.
friday: work, lan gaming, go home.
saturday: ....Wallahualam
sunday: watch Suria Segar...

you see, from monday to friday, money has been wasted for entertainment after work. it is, to me, a must, because after work, if i go home, i got nothing to do except turn on the computer and surf the net. what so fun about that?

but another problem is, the entertainment consists of guys. its not a problem lah, its just that, not challenging enough. haha!

Saturday Tengok Bola Suah

i went to one of my customer's shop. they sell t-shirts of their design, printing done by our company! yeah. so i went to queensway SC and met the owner, talked about the logo she wanted me to do. and also some artwork got to do with handcuffs and a whistle.

aiyoh... Saturday nothing to do liao. takkan nak keluar sorang2 pulak kan? oh well, hopefully got some friends who can ajak gi main lan gaming after the singapore-malaysia match. a win is a must for the lions.

ok i've watched the Golden Compass. ok ok ah. but its like going to be Lord of the Rings kinda thing. they got a few different races. but i like the race where humans have animal spirit alongside you. and the animal spirit can talk to you some more. especially the girl who got a very cute animal spirit. boleh jadi kucing, mouse, bird etc. kan best if we have that kinda thing.
the last part got a few "war" with the humans with their animals, fighting with a company of soldiers look and sounds like russians. they even include flying witches with their bow and arrows, and one angry snow bear.

eh i realise some of my friends who got blogs were having lyrics and the video of one of the song in the Enchanted movie. best kan cerita? very sweet. like i said in my previous blog, i love jaselle. shes cute, not because she looks cute, because her penampilan diri beliau, kemanjaan beliau dan lain2.

Aiyo

last 2 days, a young cat followed me. so i thought why not let it follow all the way to my house. but instead the cat stop a few metres and it "meows" continuosly while looking at the other direction. the cat sesat. i made the cat lost its way.

in SEA games 07, do you know, singapore is in the second position with 8 golds now? and the opening ceremony is tomorrow. first position is thailand with 14 golds. so fast sia!

today is wednesday. very slow the time is ticking. not much work to do due to december holidays.
oh yeah, you know its difficult if you don't learn chinese? or at least understand chinese? got a call that day, he spoke in chinese and i said can you speak english and he continue speaking in chinese. so i tried malay. "lu tau cakap melayu?" and he said, "Aiyo..."
aah that word 'aiyo' i fully understand. cos i always use that word during work.

good thing i got the production people that can speak in their language.

Fat and Ugly

y must go east coast beach when you can go botanic gardens?
i tell you, if you want to have a gathering with friends, bringing potlucks, playing the guitar and play taitee, y not consider botanic gardens?

only disadvantage is there's no sea water and no way you can bbq there. but a simple picnic by the lake can be fun especially with the great view of the lake and swans and green grass and even the wind were so gentle. ok lah maybe that day i went the wind was gentle.

it was a great day that saturday going out with a blog friend. we talked alot though she talked more but she got alot of stories on working experience and interview cases. we should go out and venture more places never been in singapore yea?

i've learnt that discrimination towards people who are less cool, less fashion sense, fat, ugly etc is somewhat a real thing, still happening and its not a very healthy thing to do. usually the younger people are the culprits especially those who are with groups of cool youngsters and only make friends who are either cool in fashion or have pretty faces.

also i realise only youngsters who listens to rock, metal and other angry music, they accepts low class, ugly, fat, people to the group. that's why i've a few fat friends who listens to death metal, black metal and other hardcore crazy metal.

even during my secondary school days, i can be so close with my friends who listens to alternative and punk like at that time when those kinda songs are more popular in the radio. but those friends who listens to pop and Dikir Barat(its malay pop to me) and those who don't have passion for music, they are all fucked up. i was ugly at that time.
