Congratulations to Team Andayu 2008 for the great performance of the annual Layar Andayu 2008 theatre musical production.
aku percaya korang betul2 bekerja keras. dan kerana itulah aku kesiankan korang. kenapa sampai sekarang pihak sekolah masih implement free tickets?
sekolah2 lain seperti RP, SP dan TP, diorang punya performance kena bayar beb. kenapa NYP punya pulak kena free?
walau bagaimana pun tahniah, persembahan yang memuaskan. teruskan berjuang seni melayu. tapi ingat, nak berseni boleh, tapi jangan abaikan pelajaran. cos the main thing why you're in NYP is to get a diploma. ni yang banyak anak2 melayu asyik lupa.

Lagu2 Melayu Jiwang Mau Naik Balik?

Congrats to Vietnam for winning the ASEAN championship cup for the first time.
But next time, if you come to Singapore, remember, stick together when going out of the national stadium cos if you get surrounded by some naughty singaporeans, most probably, more naughty singaporeans will surround you and finish you off. also don't drop your flag, they may get burnt.
we may be a developed country, but we can get very nasty when on the field.

anyway, i'm not that happy when i read about the breakdown of the singapore flyer. if it breaks down and the people had to wait to be saved for 1 or 2 hours, thats ok. but i heard it was almost 7 hours, then they got saved? jatuhkan maruah tu.

heard about the baronbros on youtube? you know the tattooed malays playing malay love songs that they create by themselves? they are good man. their songs are too malayish lovey dovey. but if you can add in the drums and the bass, most probably it will sound better. i like the guy playing the solo. he's really good man. but the bad thing about them is that, they're showing their tattoos, its like telling other malays that its alright to have tattoos, as long as you can play music.
they should cover up their stuffs lah.

Friendster Spam Fest

Friendster's got a problem.
problems with spammings. suddenly you see your friends on your comments, showing a part of a video that needs to be clicked so you can see it.
i'm sure you all too got those kinda stuffs. so now, its time for a change to facebook, or wait for friendster to do something about it, or else.

but friendster has been a great place to be cos you can find your long lost friends in there. seriously.
well during my old times, friendster was one of the famous website to get to know one another including anakmelayu, until anakmelayu decided to charge a few dollars so you can use for a month.

anyway, aku sedih teramat sangat.
kekalahan yang memang menyakitkan hati.
walaupun dibolosi satu gol, tapi kerana sang singa telah bermain bertungkus lumus untuk mendapatkan gol, aku percaya mereka adalah yg terbaik dlm perlawanan antara singapura dengan vietnam malam itu. tapi sayang, tiada nasib.
walau macam mana pun, syabas untuk pemain2 bolasepak singapura kerana telah memberi yang terbaik.

Recap of 2008 Resolutions

ok lets recap on my resolutions of 2008.

january - go pulau ubin.
yeah, i remembered i went with my guy friends and we cycled around the island. my friends were exhausted cos it was hot and humid and there were quite a number of up slopes.
nothing much there actually.

february - eat at Sakura buffet.
boss ask us out with all the office workers including the production workers.
its much better than seoul garden actually cos you just have to take and eat. no need to cook.

march - watch foreign movie at midnite.
i didn't wanna go alone, which i actually thought of that.
so it was never happen.

april - celebrate birthday at seoul garden.
thanks Edlin for the treat. even though you were 2 weeks late, then you realised my birthday. hehehe. birthday is nothing that special actually. but its a good day to get your long lost friends and gather them up for that 'special' day. and most of my silatnyp friends can't just give excuses just to miss their friends' birthday gathering. cos most of them are always busy and very difficult to get them during other normal days. shift work. what to do. so a birthday is good to have a gathering. of course, don't expect presents cos most of them are too busy to find one. its not that i hate my friends. i just pity them. thats all. and i don't remember your birthday, Edlin. oh wait, its november right? oops...

may - learn chinese chess.
i actually wanted to learn. next year lah.

june - picnic at botanic gardens.
supposed to have a picnic with my mcg friends. but had to cancel for some reasons. if i'm not wrong not many response was one of the reason. and i'm the only one initiating the gathering, i'm the only one organizing the gathering. i've had enough of that. too tedious.

july - buy PC monitor.
too expensive. i'm actually looking at LCD flatscreen monitors but that time, $200++ was the cheapest for a 15inch lcd monitor. that's way too much for a monitor. i rather use it to buy a graphic card instead. anyway it was cancelled.

august - build a CPU.
my budget had to go for other commitment. and that is driving lessons. building a CPU, and i mean a good one, can cost at least about $500+ maybe next year.

september - learn to drive manual car
around this month i'm still practicing for final theory test. haven't got to go for car practical yet. but for the month of december this year, i've already passed left turns and changing lanes. next will be right turns.

october - memorize Hiragana.
i like japanese culture, and it'll be nice if i can read japanese too. i got the book to learn japanese language cos i took japanese during poly days, but i almost failed. and wanting to open the book again takes "time". heheehe. so cancelled. i actually like the japanese girls more, not the culture. okay that sounds horny. i like their dramas. yeah.

november - make a cake.
nope. no interest yet.

december - celebrate new year at esplanade.
there's 2 more weeks to go. so i don't have to worry about that one cos its really not an important event. i think what's important is start checking out on the 2009 calendar to find ideas for 2009 resolutions.

so people, if you wanna have a visual of what you wanna in 2009, why not make resolutions, not for a year, but for every month? that way, every month you'll have something good to do, a goal to achieve.

alamak, i'm sorry for not blogging for almost 3 weeks. as usual my life has been normal. as usual, work had a few problems. normal!
anyway, finally my heart has been filled. she's easy going, easy to talk to, we can talk about general stuffs. she doesn't talk so much about her every detail of life, from work to friends and family. you know girls love to talk about her life but too much small details that i really had a hard time listening to it cos its too boring and its tiring, seriously.

example:

Ah Seng was not satisfied because his project idea was rejected. The boss took the other stupid guy's idea. and i think its really a stupid idea. pity right?! poor Ah Seng. boss very biased one!"

lets break it up the conversation so you'll get what i mean by too much details.

topic - her colleague had a quarrel with his boss.
main details - Ah Seng had a quarrel with the boss cos his project idea was rejected, instead the other person passed. and the other person's idea was not as good as Ah Seng's. and the girl you talking to were siding Ah Seng because she thinks his idea is better.

extra details - her colleague's name is Ah Seng
- used to be a salesman
- single and boring
- wear too casual clothes
- smells bad
- yellow teeth
- short hair
- the quarrel happened after lunch
- during lunch went to watsons to get shampoo
(this is the part where she'll talk about what her)
- the shampoo is expensive but smells very nice
(more about what she's been doing during lunch time)
- then saw a man that looked like her ex.
(trying to get your attention)
- didn't bother to smile at him even though he smiled at her
(she wanted to show you she's a good girl)
- had fried rice for lunch
- at her favourite kopitiam
- too crowded but had no choice cos she's hungry
- and so on and on and on.....

this is an example of how some girls are boring to me. talk too much details. even my sister was like that. thats why when she's talking to me, when she started going to some extra details, i'll tell her, "please, summarise it."

and girls, if you are like that, try watching the body movement of the guy whos' listening to you.
most probably he'll look away a few times. and often these times he's trying to cover his yawning.

Another Bad day for Muslims

the mumbai terror attacks was quite a surprise for me. never thought there's another major terrorists attacks after the 9-11 that also surprised me that i watched the news almost everyday at the NYP library back then. but what saddened me was the Singaporean who got killed by the terrorists.

maybe the world is not updated so much about the clash at Kashmir between India and these kasmir people. so they thought, why not go inside India and kill people to create awareness to the world.

remember the seige by the terrorists from Chechnya, where they took hostages in the theatre and a school at Russia? that also i think they were trying to create awareness to the world about the clash between Russia and the people in Chechnya.

yg sedihnya, those terrorists are muslims, the kasmir people fighting for kashmir, they are muslims, the chechan people, they are muslims too.
muslims killing innocent people just to get attention from the world.
end up what you get is total discrimination towards all muslims around the world! stupid...
