Stage Aura

Hanisah wanted to open a drama club, because woodlands CC does not have a good opportunity for the drama people in RA. She opened the drama club at Ace The Place - Cummunity Centre at Admiralty. She called some members from RA to join her and that includes me. I joined her drama club cos, first its new, second i knew many of the members so its not difficult to work with them. Rizal, our advisor and also one of the committee of MAEC, helped us alot. The committees of MAEC were so easy-going, discipline and friendy, they really appreciate the drama club to be in the MAEC for this CC.

There were a few conflicts and problems with the members of this new drama club, but after the voting for the committees' seats for this club, i think the club can settle down, with no more internal problems, no more unresolved questions about the CC and the MAEC anymore. So the drama club committees can concentrate on the incoming projects.

The drama club called, Stage Aura, is going to start its practice for a drama show this coming June, our first project.

RPG

Role-Playing Game. This kind of game needs alot of patience, cos u got to fight many monsters to level up. when u level up, you'll be stronger. but the time taken to jus go up one level takes alot of time! but when u get to that level, you feel great and you'll have the energy to fight again!

Right now i'm hook with this online rpg game called MU Continent of The Legend, www.muonline.com. the main objectives are to fight monsters and level up, when u get 1 level up, u can increase yur strength, agility or others. the higher yur stats, the better weapons you can use, and you can fight harder monsters! Wow!

Also, since you are playing online, you can meet people from all over the country or your friends and fight together with them! Fun huh!

Oh yeah, I'm happy to see dat this game had a keris, its under the second level of weapons. Cool!

Theatre by Millenia Institute

i went there by myself even though my sis and izzam were going too. dats because my sis doesn't want me to go with them. Fine.

The theatre was shown at The chevrons at Boon Lay Way. It looks like a country club. the theatre stage was at level 3. It started at 3.30pm

Lets make it short lah. the story line was good and creative. the story is about: there were a few people got some problems, so these "special people" talk things out and solve the problem. something like dat lah. hahahah. aku pun tak faham sangat lah cerita dia. hahahahahahahaahahah heheheeheh.

a few problems faced when these "special people" were talking about someone's problems. they were talking too much, even their jokes was not funny anymore. it was draggy also.
Another problem is the sound. sometimes i couldn't here some of their voices. there were no hanging mics i think.

the best character was the "General" plaeyed by Mokhtar, This guy played in "Bara". He's funny, he's natural. he lights up the show whenever his turn to act. one more person that i really like is Suhaili, i think dats her name. i heard dat she's in Teater Ekamatra. she's so natural. she's cute. she can be funny. and she can be very fierce too! Nice!

Big Blow For the President

i went for silat training just now, jsut to visit them and watch them train. looks like they trained quite hard. i can see their faces looks tired but satisfied with Taufiq's coaching.

Then came Wan, our silat NYP president. his left arm was bandaged. it looks terrible. i ask him if he's going to play the championship, he said that in 2 weeks, he'll visit the doctor, if the doctor said that his arm is ok, he will play. he said he really wanted to play the championship this year because he had missed last year championship due to his arm injury. and now, looks likes his injured arm is back, causing him to stay at home and couldn't train with us. I feel so sad for him.

i, as the team manager, do not have any problems yet. since my job will start during the balloting day, that will be on early june 2004.

BBQ At Sentosa Again!

This time Rahmat organize it. There's no special occasion for it, except it was an all-NYP-friends party.

There were only me, Rahmat, rueben, farizan, firman, nahar, rizal, khairil, isaac, adian, rahmats gf and farizan's ex gf's cousin that came to the bbq. 12 people. not too many, not too little.

khairil do all the cooking, cos he's really good at bbq, he sets the fire too! we had bbq chicken and satay. the chicken tasted so good! the satay came from rahmat. his mother made that for us, and it was realy good too! khairil also made this special dish. crab meat with satay's gravy. first he lay down a long piece of aluminium foil. he put the crab meat side by side on the foil. then he covered the crab meats with satay's gravy. then he BBQed it. great dish!

after the bbq, some play poker cards, some of them went to the bench and talked. then together, we went to the beach to have a warm dip of saltwater. then an accident occur, a jellyfish attacked khairil! he felt a some kind of electric shock, then his arm felt painful, we went up and check if his arm was ok. it was red. then we saw a few scratchy marks on some parts of his arm. he said its going to be ok. the pain will last for at least 10 to 15 minutes. my question is, why did the jellyfish came to the water near the shore?! it was in the middle of the night and it was high tide. the water was very calm.

after that, we play 5-a-side beach soccer. the time was around 2 or 3am. i scored once. but my toenail broke. adian's foot injured. nahar played so good. the rest of them played like as if they were playing for the world cup final. they tackled, ran so fast and they shoot like rockets. nice game. bad injuries for most of them.

the next morning, khairil set up the fire and cooked breakfast. i helped him with the chicken, but most of the chickens turned black! thanks to me... after a good breakfast, we pack up and leave at around 10am.

it was a nice bbq party, simple yet enjoyable.

The Fight!

i went to school for silat training, but to my surprise, they wanted to have the selections straight away. looks like silatNYP needs to take in only the best 2 for class C and F for the guys and another class (dunno wat class) for the girls. well, i too join the fight for class h, even there's only me and Ipin. but we still fight to see who's good and who's not.

Ipin vs Wak - starting, i had one side kick on target. then i gave a few kicks. he looks as if he's playing defence. but suddenly, he gave me a punch, right to my lower neck! painful, but i wanted to continue. so i tried to find a spot to hit him, but some how, he looks so defensive, then suddenly he attacked me with hard kicks and a few punches, he did it again and again, one kick and one sapuan(sweeping leg kick) made me fall. aku dah rasa sedih, i felt as if i'm useless, but somehow, i don't want to give up. i tried to attack, but he defended well, and then he gave another punch below my neck, the game pause for a while, Taufiq ask me if i want to fight, i said yes. so we fight, and then came the most scariest punch i've ever encountered, he punched me, right to my neck! it was painful, i didn't cry, i knew i was in the wrong. waktu dia tumbuk aku, aku tunduk. so his punch hit on my neck, Rock(Faizal) took off my vest and i went out of the room. Ipin came to me and said sorry, he looks as if he had done a big sin to me, but i said it was ok. it was just an accident.

but somehow, i felt good being hit like dat so bad. i never had dat kind of beating before! hehe! even though its so painful, but it felt good! serious! dunno why...

neck - my throat hurts when i wanna swallow something, my neck a bit hurts if i turn my head to the right. this is the part where Ipin gave his final punch.

between my neck and my dada (around the bone there) - red marks on the right and left side, when i touch it, i feel pain. lebam ah tu nampaknya. those came from his punches.

above arm, near the shoulder - one patch of red marks, lebam jugak tu, cos when i touch it, it hurts. this one came from his kicks.

right leg, above the ankle - red marks, lebam also. it was caused by Ipin's sapuan(sweeping leg kick)

Wow! isn't dat scary! but somehow, it made me learn something, NO PAIN, NO GAIN!

Teenagers Like 2 B Angry?

there's this person wrote her blogs with anger, not once but quite alot of times. she said dat she hates people looking at her, she's frustrated when her brother make noise and being woke up by her mother etc.

y do we have to be angry? when there's a problem, anger tends to build up fast if we can't find the solution and thus makes the problem more difficult to solve. when someone makes us irritated, we tend to be angry because irritation makes our feelings to change rapidly.

So how to stop this anger? Before we go into this, let me tell you abit about anger. Do u know that anger is SATAN? yes, this satan will whisper to your ears telling us to be angry when there's a problem or when u are being irritated by someone. if u are weak, u will listen to satan and you became angry!

so a good strong mind and faith can prevent this anger. make sure when a problem arise, relax, then focus on the problem. find out how the problem arise will definitely make you find the solution easily.

if you get irritated by someone, do not react first! relax for a while, and then think back what this person had done to you that makes you irritated. that way, you will know why the person irritates you and then you can easily find the best solution to shut the fucker up!

example: u are talking to your friend on the phone when your brother makes noise and disturb you. first you put the phone on hold, relax, then you think back what your brother had done just now. from there, u can find some solutions; ask him y he disturbs u(u may get the solution from his answer), get a candy and give it to him to eat, put down the phone and play with him for a while, or put your brother in a room and lock him up until you finish your phone conversation.

remember, think first before you react.

Still wanna fight?

Silat Inter-Varsity-Poly(IVP) championship is just around the corner. Edlinda tanya aku, "are you going to play in the IVP?" i said no. But actually deep in my heart, i still wanna fight. But what makes me said NO?

Not Ready = yes, i'm not ready. aku tak training since October 2003 due to attachment. After the start of the new semester, January 2004, i still didn't come for training! malas ah, hehehe. i come only once in a while.

The Finger = aaah, yes. my middle finger on my left hand was injured when i was training for the Silat IVP championship last year(2003). During my fights, i'll be so in pain when my opponent hit my left hand! Seriously painful! And now my finger senget abit. i think the bone inside abit broken lah, maybe lah... hehe

Well, so i'm not playing. But am i still useful for the championship coming out? YESSS of course!

Cheer Leader = i think, i really think i am the best cheer leader in Silat NYP! Because during the championship last year, when i cheer, people followed! :D haha.

Motivator = i can motivate people. but its up to the people to follow my words...

Silver Medal = well at least i got a medal for myself for last year's championship already. i think it was an easy battle for me, except for the final lah. But i think this year, its going to be difficult, more people are joining silat, that means more new and maybe better opponents to fight. Of course i want a gold medal, but i think i'm still not an excellent fighter yet. so one silver medal in my collection is enough.

Ok that's about it. Anyway, Good Luck Silat NYP! Win the championship this year!

Raffles Jahat

haa! ini cerita pun gerek jugak bila aku baca buku "Antara Dua Kota". Ada satu profesor ni yg bernama Syed Hussain al-Attas, waktu itu beliau adalah ketua jabatan pengajian melayu di NUS, membuat buku "Thomas Stamford Raffles, 1781-1826, Schemer or Reformer?" mengenai Raffles dari pandangan beliau . Raffles telah disifatkan sebagai manusia yg tidak berperikemanusiaan dan kejam.

Contoh pertama: Sesudah Belanda kalah di tangan British di Java pada 16.8.1811, sebyk 24 orang Eropah, 63 orang Jawa dlm kubu Belanda di Palembang, telah dimasukkan ke dlm sebuah bot dan mati lemas di sungai. Mereka yg terbunuh ini telah dijanjikan akan dihantar ke Batavia tetapi telah dibunuh beramai-ramai atas arahan Raffles.

Contoh kedua: Raffles telah membantu kawannya, Alexander Hare, menubuhkan sebuah penempatan British di Banjarmasin sehingga memperolehi tanah seluas 1400 batu persegi, iaitu lebih 6 kali ganda luas Singapura, dan beliau telah menghantar tawanan dari Jawa - 907 lelaki, 462 wanita dan 123 kanak2 ke sana. Para wanita tersebut telah diculik semata-mata kerana Raffles mahu menolong kawannya membuka penempatan di sana.

Percaya atau tidak, itu sendiri punya hal ah.

Keramat di Fort Canning

aku ada baca buku ni "Antara Dua Kota" yg mengisahkan mengenai Munsyi Abdullah. Tapi yg paling gerek yg buku perbualkan adalah mengenai keramat Iskandar Syah.

Keramat Iskandar Syah ini dipercayai makam seorang raja Singapura pada zaman silam, pada abad ke 13 atau 14. Singapura telah diperintah oleh lima orang raja, tetapi sehingga kini belum ada persetujuan dan rumusan yg pasti mengenai siapakah yg bersemadi di makam itu.

Pihak Museum Philatelic telah membuat pengumuman bahawa makam itu adalah Parameswara (Iskandar Syah). Tetapi di dlm Sejarah Melayu, ia telah menjelaskan bahawa beliau meninggal dunia di Melaka, bukan Singapura.

Sejarah Melayu menjelaskan yg empat raja Singapura telah meninggal dunia di Singapura dan telah disemadikan di Bukit Larangan. Ini telah disahkan oleh Munsyi Abdullah, Raffles dan Crawfurd. Iskandar Syah diriwayatkan wafat di Melaka. Di antara 4 raja yg wafat itu, Sri Tri Buana (Sang Nila Utama) diceritakan mempunyai kuasa luar biasa. Oleh itu kemungkinan besar beliau dianggap keramat oleh rakyatnya atau generasi seterusnya, berbanding dgn raja-raja lain. Jadi buat masa ini, belum ada bukti-bukti konkrit yg menolak kenyataan ini.
