2006

January 06: family camp at east coast that will never happen again. the main idea was from me and my siblings to make a picnic by the beach with all my nenek's families. its cheaper than getting a chalet but we had to go there one day early to get a good place because New Year's Eve. but it was the wet season and its always raining. after that i decided not to do it again.

February 06: NYP got through to the finals of Gema Puisi Artistik after 2 years but before that there were cries and shoutings and asthma attack(only from one person) happened due to some misunderstandings between the pusaka seni members. my bicycle was stolen during this month. got into Lance Corporal and my partner supposed to be in my rota went to jail for rioting. and also i got a new phone and new line, Sony Ericcson K700i. in my workplace, i got a new partner in my rota

March 06: started working on the storylines for Layar Andayu 2006. i decided to take charge on the sound and lighting.

April 06: NYP Club Crawl 2006, i played dikir barat as an awok-awok. wah the feeling was really syiok man, after so long. cos dikir barat was my first love for malay arts. my birthday, got a cake from my silatnyp mates, for the first time, i had a cake given from my friends! Aaa, this part is wrong, its actually the second time. the first time came from Jesus who actually made it by himself, chocolate cake with m&m's. hmm... don't know why i couldn't remember that.

May 06: went to Pulau Ubin with my dad and mum. i realised that its really fun to go there riding a bicycle around the island. got a new mp3 player due to Progress Package! my computer's down.

June 06: i built my own PC with all the parts were bought from Sim Lim Square. it took me about 6 hours to build.

July 06: Layar Andayu 2006 Theatre Production: Pondok. Great show, great ending. great night.

August 06: i became Corporal. went for NDP preview for the first time in many years, in fact this is my second time. the fire burns on the National Stadium's cauldron was the most saddest. did my IPPT and i didn't do 2.4km run. i did zero pull-up. so i gave up.

September 06: had a project, building 2 PCs for Aisha. got a new fresh partner for my rota's ops orderly in CDA.

October 06: Hari Raya AIdilfitri! i hate baby prams during the fasting month. an office key were lost and i may get a punishment for it, i didn't lose it of cos. but because my job is to take care of keys, so i'm responsible for it.

November 06: got an original Windows XP Pro for $208 and i'm very impressed with it after i changed my operating system to Win XP Pro after for so long been using Win 98SE for 8 years. Hari Raya Theatre Productions by Andayu was different and i loved it!

December 06: this year's Asian Games Opening Ceremony were the best! my cousin and one of the oldest cucu of my nenek besides me and my sister, Hidayah, got engaged. went to KL with family, a normal yet quite enjoyable trip.

and that's what had happened for the past 12 months. actually there were more sad sad moments but i decided not to put it on to the blog. there's some things that's better to keep it to ourselves.

Kuala 'Lumpuh!'

went to kuala lumpur on the 23 december to 26 december 2006 with my father, mother, small sister and small brother. my nenek tak ikut. the trip made me learn more about my family. i learnt that all of us are shy to ask. malu nak tanya. bila suruh mintak tanya orang, satu pun tak berganjak. even my mother and my father also tak mahu bergerak. its weird. cos i actually realised that now and how difficult life is being with people who are afraid of asking to people.

we stayed at a hotel at Bukit Bintang area where the surroundings were like Orchard Road! many big shopping centres like Lot10, Sungei Wang Plaza, BB Plaza and Times Square. the area basically good for chinese tourists as there were many chinese restaurants there. and during the eve of Christmas, there were almost no malays in that area! hehe.

went to Muzium Negara and Zoo Negara. learnt about the different ethnics of the Malays. the rest of the exhibitions was boring. the paling boring part was the second storey of the museum was closed for renovations. couldn't get to see the weaponry gallery. alamak...... Zoo Negara was alright. got to see a really big snake, camels munching carrots, orang utans eating fruits thrown by visitors, illegally, monkeys kutip kutu kat badan monkey yg lain. and of the course kerinduan terubat bila dapat tengok guinea pigs.

bila nak pergi cari hotel lain pulak for the 3rd night, satu2 muka bonyok. and because lelaki punya ego tinggi, aku dengan bapak aku bertelingkah buat sementara waktu sampaikan bapak aku kata dia nak beli tiket balik. good thing the tickets were all sold out and so another one more day at KL.

sightseeing at KLCC and shopping at Petaling Street. but the best was ate dinner at A&W! Coney dogs, ice cream waffles and the famous root beer floats! A&W certainly is a good fast food restaurant, too bad Singapore doesn't have one anymore.

most of the time we took LRT and trains rather than public buses and taxis. we had only 2 rides of taxis and no rides on a bus.

oh ya, at the last day, i hurt my knee cos i jump on a bed to another bed then bounced back straight to a wall beside the bed hurting my knee.

tiket coach pergi balik KL-Johor Bahru: RM320
from Johor Bahru to KL is RM40. ticket from KL to Johor Bahru is RM28. kurang ajar betul, kat johor pulak tiketnya mahal. suspect kuat banyak orang singapura naik coach dari johor sebab murah daripada naik coach dari singapura. jadi coach2 kat johor naikkan harga ah.

hotels: RM900

sungei wang hotel kat bukit bintang. deluxe double room at RM180 and we took 2 rooms and 2 nights so total is RM720. then the 3rd night kat Palce Hotel at Masjid India area. family room at RM180. murah kan Palace Hotel? sebab tu aku rasa serba salah sebab aku yang pilih nak duduk kat Bukit Bintang. takpelah. niat nak tengok wayang dan naik roller coaster kat Times Square tetapi terbantut kerana harga hotel tu ah.

mostly trains and LRTs were used going around KL. the disadvantages, alot of long walks to stations. took only 2 rides of taxis. masalahnya kita tak naik taxi sangat sebab kena naik sampai 2 taxi sebab kita ada 5 dewasa, 4 dewasa 1 taxi aje....

Apa Mau Kerja Beb?!

wah best lah. its been 2 weeks i've not been working and i'm enjoying every bit, felt like the last time i had to wait for my NS and my school had already ended and i had so much time and i used it doing acting and directing with my malay poly mates, playing games and lan gamings at Parklane and lepak2 with my band mates and also jamming but at that time i had $4 a day so its kinda hard except this time i got NS Pay!(even though its only $400 its quite enough for a month.)

tak semestinya kena keluar everyday just to enjoy right. for example, if i wanna watch a movie, instead of going to a cineplex, just rent a vcd for $2 a day and i can watch at home. i can also enjoy playing Lan Gaming at home with my bro and sis(so far we're playing using a PC and a laptop so we had to take turns.) so far we're playing Command & Conquer: Generals.

kalau nak lepak, make sure eat at home first so that you won't have the urge to munch when you saw adverts of burgers and fried chickens at your lepak corner. but the best is going out with your parents cos they usually fork out money more than their children. hehehe

you know, of all malaysian bands, i think Exist really gerek ah, cos their songs very balance, got rock, rock ballads, and the weird thing is that they still survive! why i said that because the first time i heard the song 'Oh Ibu' was during my primary school days. then came the 'Mengintai Dari Tirai Kamar' which brought memories of my secondary school life. and now 'Percayalah Siti' made me wanna sing along with it when i got bored reading boring blogs from my some boring friends. hehehe

Bermalam dgn Basikal

night cycling has never been enjoying after i did night cycling with my brother yesterday nite.

we started around 1.30am and off we went to Bukit Timah. we thought we wanna go Al-ameen and lepak there. but after reaching there we felt like cycling some more, so we continue on and pass Ngee Ann Poly and went to Clementi.

but before we reach Clementi, we took the route near the Ulu Pandan River. to our surprise the route stopped at AYE! the worst thing is that there was no bridge to cross from the route to the AYE road side. so we had to carry down our bicycles to the longkang and carry up to the other side facing the road side.

finally we move on and had to carry our bicycles up to the overhead bridge to cross to the other side of the AYE road because its the only way to go to Jurong East and straight home. it was 3.30am at that time.

finally reaching Jurong East, my brother's bicycle front tyre pancit so we had to pump and move fast. when the tyre were back to pancit, we pump again and move on. luckily we were at Bukit Batok Road, where after that road will be Teck Whye and then Bukit Panjang. the whole journey was approximately 18km and we reached home at 5am.

i think i wanna go further, if only i have friends around bukit panjang or anywhere around the west area who would love to go night cycling, it'll be great cos i wanna go as far as East Coast one day.

Suka-Tak Suka Percintaan Zak Dan Azura

heikal ni memang degil orangnya. sebenci dan sesakit hati pun, dia tetap sayang dia peh girl. had a good chat with him when i went out with him temankan dia gi shopping jap, bought some football kits. then we head to Magic Wok to eat rice with chilli prawns, lemon chicken, sayur with daging with white rice.


had a deep thought while watching Azura (80's movies) featuring Ogy and Jamal Abdillah. their love for each other were so deep, the guy, Zack sanggup tinggalkan keluarga kerana mereka penghalang cinta mereka. sampaikan sekolah pun terpaksa berhenti kerana tiada wang. at one point i love watching these 2 being in love but another point aku naik menyampah dengan dorang yg terlalu lovey dovey. maybe i'm jealous lah.

Ogy was absolutely cute and beautiful, love her very much. manja pulak tu dia. heheh. most her movies also she acted as a manja girl.

oh and also, i'm crazy for the songs featured in the movies. they are lovely to listen, very catchy. mana nak cari eh lagu2 soundtracks dari movies2 zaman 80an?

Bagai Jin Toncet Marah2

semalam jamming kat Lee Studio Sembawang Rd selama dua jam kerana satu jam ingin bermain dgn drummer lama kita, hafiz. kerinduan terubat untuk dia dan juga kita setelah kita mainkan lagu2 yg biasa kita main seperti Hallowed Be Thy Name, Fear of The Dark, Trooper dan yang paling aku favourite, Kill n Destroy, lagu buatan kita sendiri, tapi kita main setakat intro dan verse aje. seperti biasa, drum bagi masalah setiap kali dia memberi hentakan yg bagai Jin Toncet marah2(senang cakap undescribable). pedal untuk bass terlepas(nasib baik dpt pasang balik) dan cymbal ada crack sikit(nasib baik auntie kasi chance tak perlu bayar extra).

Smashing Ai Ying!

Xing Ai Ying power lah lu!!! you all got watch the Women's Singles Quarterfinals against Korea? damn Xing Ai Ying is damn good man! too bad she lost 2-1. but i can see her future is gonna be bright. you'll gonna hear her name often the next few years.

the game was intense, even i felt the tiredness of the two athletes fighting back to back, hit after hit after hit. i can say its one of the best game i've watched. congrats to Xing Ai Ying from the Badminton Team Singapore, you have done well.

oh also to Li Tao, congrats for the gold medal!!! yeah! even though she's china born, at least i can see her murmured "Majulah Singapura" when the national anthem were played. never mind, go back home hopefully you can learn the whole lyrics ok? ok go.

semalam bapak aku dan mak aku involve in masjid al-iman roadshow. aku tak dapat pergi tengok tapi aku dapat dengar complain2 yang mereka hujah. kalau itu roadshow involve satu masjid, kenapa kumpulan2 lain tak datang? hanya kumpulan yg telah kendalikan roadshow tersebut saja yang hadir. just imagine Club Crawl with only one club showcased. nasib baik ada member2 dari RC datang untuk meriahkan suasana including the SCDF, the video police and even permainan gamelan, kalau tidak...

tapi memang kesian tak ramai yang turun, padahal mak aku sampai dua malam tak tidur pasal fikirkan mahu menjayakan roadshow tersebut. aku dapat tolong sikit dengan type dan print some paperwork.

heran eh, walaupun kelab yg mak bapak aku masuk khas untuk warga emas, tapi organisasinya pasti ada yg iri hati, sakit hati, eksyen, yang merajuk pun ada; dah tua2 pun masih berperasaan gitu ke? heheeh kalau Andayu ada production, pasti seratus peratus percintaan antara sesama member berputik. tapi nasib baik lah kumpulan warga emas ni aku rasa member2 dah bersuami isteri, bayangkan kalau yg masuk kumpulan tersebut hanya janda dan duda tua? Eeeee!!!!

Horseriding with the Torch

did you watch the opening ceremony of the 15th Asian Games at Doha? man i tell you it was one of the best opening ceremony since Olympic Games Athens 2004.

but i think the best, the most memorable, the most dramatic, is the lighting of the cauldron. the rider rides the horse while holding the torch and they climb up the stadium, the horse almost wanted to give up but the rider gave a little more push and they reached to the top and burn it to a star shaped cauldron, and it looked very futuristic too. it was beautiful. almost bring me to tears.

A Tarian Girl as my Kekasih

yesterday morning, i watched the VCD, Pondok, with my nenek and my mum. my nenek actually laughed lah especially the crazy people in Taman Indah. hey, its difficult you know to get my nenek laugh. Senario, Ganyut ni semua tak goyang ah. kalau cerita2 lama zaman p ramlee, tu boleh. but after the second part of the theater, it got bored. the story was half done and i changed it to the interviews part.

while i was watching with my nenek and my mum, suddenly my nenek talk about what kind of girl that i should find. i think she talked about it before.
these are her criteria:
fair skin.
younger than me.
not fat. actually aku nak explain lebih sikit on this part tapi macam jatuhkan air muka nenek aku nanti. and its like 3 times aku backspace the explanations that i've wrote here. biarlah ia menjadi satu rahsia.

oh she told me to get one of the tarian girls that she watched in the VCD. hahaahahah!!!! i told her, all of them are attached.

heheheehe... fat hope lah if i wanna follow those criteria. i told my mum to find for me if i really couldn't find a girl.
